I know I've posted this Emerson quote before, but I kind of needed to hear it again.
"For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Take a bow, hear the applause
My father sent me a card in the mail, as he often does. However, this card had a quote on it that I really liked.
"A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer."
-Emerson

I finally get a moment to myself
"For everything you have missed, you have gained something else. And for everything you gain, you lose something else."
-Ralph Emerson
Quotes like this always get me, because I always wonder if I made the right decision and what I would have now if I'd made a different decision.
Kierkegaard said it best, "I see it all perfectly; there are two possible situations - one can either do this or that. My honest opinion and my friendly advice is this: do it or do not do it - you will regret both."
